MANDATE
The Mandate of the
Directorate of Technical Education,Madhya Pradesh
is to :-
- Implement technical education policies
of Government of Madhya Pradesh and Central Government,act
as coordinating agency between Government,Industry
and Institutions and to advice and assist the Government
in the all round development of technical education.
- Support accountability and total quality of technical education
in the state of Madhya Pradesh with effective and efficient
Management. Interact with external agencies like AICTE,CII,FICCI,
R&D Organizations and Institutes of Higher Learning.
- Providing quality education with judicious allocation of
available resources to the technical institutions so as to
contribute to the economic well-being and quality of life
of the communi ties it serves.
MISSION
Mission of the
Directorate of Technical Education,Madhya Pradesh
is to facilitate excellence in Technical Education
for the benefit of students,employers and society
at large with a focus on.
- Identification formulation and implementation
of policy initiatives for the development of Techncial
Education in emerging technologies through linkage
with business and industry, institutes of Higher
Learning,research organizations at national and
international levels.
- Professional development of faculty.
- Develoment of techncial skills and competence in women,
disabled and the underprivileged.
- Promotion and creation of
self sustaining autonomous technical institutions
to respond quickly to the trends, forces and change
in technological advancement and globalization of
the economy.
By providing an effective
communication system and an appropriate infrastructure,
as well as by fostering innovation and networking
with all stake holders, to address to challenges of
Technical Education in new millennium.
